Hat Revolve | Tee Lulus | Jacket Shopbop | Belly Band HERE | Booties Steve Madden | Jeans Saks Fifth Avenue
It’s amazing how fast this pregnancy is going by. I’m 33 weeks, and I know the rest of the time is going to fly since we are getting into the holiday season.
Feeling and looking good while your pregnant definitely comes with some challenges so I put together some tips for styling your bump with ease. I think the hardest thing for me when I'm pregnant is that I still want to feel like myself. I didn't want to completely alter my style just because I have a bump. I've learned some tricks along the way that can help throughout your pregnancy journey.
Fall is my absolute favorite for fashion, and although I missing wearing jeans as often as I normally would, I am still occasionally wearing them thanks to the belly band that I purchased on Amazon. When I was pregnant with Nico, I had purchased a different one but it wasn’t as comfortable, and I couldn’t wear anything that was fitted. I purchased this band in the nude color so that I could wear tops that were white with no problem. This band is a game changer for sure.
Fall is also a great time for accessories and layering. Hats are one of my favorite pieces to incorporate to an outfit. It instantly elevates a look and it's perfect for the days where you don't want to do your hair but still feel put together. When your pregnant, there are days when getting dressed can literally feel like a chore so putting together outfits that make you feel and look good are key!
Plan your outfit around a statement piece, like your shoes, jewelry, or jacket. The beauty of this trick is you can take a simple sweater dress and give it a much dressier finish with one standout piece.
Don't be afraid to reach for fitted or body skimming tops or dresses. When you go for bigger clothing it can make things look bulkier. Pair leggings with a boyfriend blazer and loafers or a slip dress with a sweater or cardigan.
You don't have to break the bank on maternity clothing. If you reach a point in your pregnancy where you can't recycle what you already have, invest in a few basic pieces like maternity jeans or pants in neutral colors like black or dark denim. Oversized tops and jackets are right on trend so you can just size up in tops and still wear them afterwards.
Happy styling!
