In 2014, I started blogging and began this journey in an effort to show women something that I have been doing my whole life. So often, I would flip through magazines, watch TV shows, and then be inspired to recreate looks and styles that the celebrities were wearing but at a price point that I could afford.
As a licensed hairstylist, I have specialized in the bridal industry for more than 13 years. I love being a part of a bride's wedding day and being able to bring her beauty dreams to life. To this day, I always get excited hearing from our clients about their dress, the theme, and all of their plans and needs leading up to their big day!
Zuri is a culmination of all the things I love and all the things brides have asked me for recommendations about throughout the years. I designed Zuri to be a one stop destination for fashion, beauty and advice on fitness and nutrition from influencers across the country.
A large part of my passion is making women feel and look beautiful. It could be styling them in an outfit, a hairstyle or makeup tip, but the result is the same. When a woman feels good about herself, she carries herself with a confidence that is undeniable, and that is why Zuri's goal is to empower women to live life beautifully.
As an educated consumer with a clothes obsession, I share my favorite products, fashion diaries, and makeup tips and tricks. I also sprinkle in my love of food, people, and new experiences along the way.
